Niagara Parks Oakes Garden Theatre

5851 Niagara Parkway, Niagara Falls, Ontario 43.090485, -79.072194

Strongly influenced by the City Beautiful architectural movement of the mid-20th century, the construction of Oakes Garden Theatre occurred during The Great Depression and was first opened to the public on September 18, 1937. This manicured parkette, located at the corner of Clifton Hill and the Niagara Parkway, was designed in Beaux Arts style and offers visitors breathtaking views of Niagara Falls. The outdoor amphitheatre and the surrounding grounds stand as one of the finest examples of landscape architecture in Canada.
